DON'T GROW TREES NEXT TO HOUSES....THE ROOTS ARE STRONGER THAN YOUR CEMENTED OR ROCK FOUNDATIONS!

I am sharing these photos of the roots of a tree whose roots have pushed through the rocks and made a place for itself. the tree has been cut and the roots remain, grown into the rocks.
I have a crazy relative growing a teak tree in his compound for the last many years. Pleas and threats fall on his deaf ears. I dont know when the roots will bring his and his neighbour's house down. It's frustrating watching helplessly as this person's adamant stupid resistance to bring the tree down is endangering the lives of people

Trent-Severn Waterway...Kirkfield Lift Lock...visit on August 27th, 2018

Boats from river A enter  this artificially created canal to go to river B.
The short cylindrical thing you see on the side is where the boat is tied, when waiting for the lift lock to open. these cylindrical things are in a row, meaning that boats wait in line for lift lock to open.

The boat comes to this place and waits. Imagine this is a large tub of water on which the tub is floating.

Above, is the large tub like thing in which the boat is sitting. It is lowered slowly to the level of the canal which is the canal leading to the  river B.

Flowers and Leaves at Balsam lake and the Kirkland liftlock

Art and architecture by kids and adults...on the Balsam lake beach

shifting sands

The waves lapping the beach shifted the black sand...three photos of the same spot, seconds apart...

MUSHROOMS:BALSAM LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK,KIRKLAND, ONTARIO

Went camping at Balsam Lake on Aug 26th, 2018 to Aug 28th. But came running back on 27th evening after a tornado warning. The momeny I stepped into the car, it started POURING! We left, not a second too early! There was lightning the entire drive all the way from Balsam Lake to ...upto New Market...Aurora region.
Enjoyed my one single night of camp-life.
Saw a whole lot of amazing mushrooms there. The best and most fascinating one is the one right below...I have never ever in my life seen a mushroom, so beautiful, so soft,  of this colour and shaped like this one. Just discovered that the one below is NOT a mushroom but a fungus.

Below is a lovely red and yellow mushroom.

Below is a white one.

I love the one below mainly because of the colored circle at the edge. I wonder what caused this color...a ring of red and a ring of blue

I love the symmetry of the one below.
The orange-brownish spots on the tree stump...are they lichen or baby mushrooms?

I love the green moss on the white mushrooms. I assume the green moss is on the older ones and the young ones are still white...?

I love these cute, small, yellow ones below

This red one below is so fierce looking!

I am not sure if the three white above are mushrooms or a different type of shapeless mass of fungus like ?alge or lichen or something else?

Change over time..in me

I have stopped rating books, TV shows and movies based on how much I "liked" them or "enjoyed" them. I rate them as ...
