Visited Riverdale farm (in Cabbage town) on Dec 23, 2019 to check out if it's right for my 7 month old nephew who's visiting. It was lovely to see this quiet oasis in the middle of busy Toronto..with a cow, horse, a slope for tobogganing, a large park and this lovely old barn above. It's by the Don river. The smell in the barn brought me memories of my childhood in my village...cattle, hay and cow- dung. I loved it!

CENTENNIAL PARK CONSERVATORY IN ETOBICOKE, Nov 24, 2019
If you are feeling low on a cold winter's day in Toronto, the place to visit would be a warm hothouse with tropical flowers and plants to cheer up.
Two places I discovered are:
Allan Gardens in downtown at 160 Gerrard street east
Centennial Park Conservatory at 151 Elmcrest road, Etobicoke, ON M9C 3S2
Below are flowers (mostly mums) from Centennial Park Conservatory...Nov 24th was the last day of mums display and it was sheer chance that we decided to go there that day!

Niagara Falls, Nov 23, 2019 Sat
I have visited the Niagara many many times over the last several years. Every visit, I feel something has changed. This time the flow seemed to be more, the landmass just before the falls seemed to have shrunk, the paths where people walk seemed to be a bit wider...
