My home is terribly messy due to my hoarding issues and "what's-the-point-of-cleaning.-It -gets-dirty-again-anyway' belief. I am referring to my cat's hair when I say, it gets dirty again anyway.
The one room which looks relatively nice and neat is my bathroom. This was the only room we got renovated...reason, we spotted a water leak from a cracked pipe. The rest of my 100 year old home remains unrenovated. I don't believe in making changes when things are working fine.

It has my cat, who sits there when we are using the bathroom. It sits when it wants to look out the window at the squirrels running on the telephone wires. The bust is something I picked at the New York MET, years ago. I love it! The plant with its lovely tiny pink buds is something which grows at the bottom of my garden and these flowers appear only in winter!
