Due to the  pall spread over my life by Covid since last year, I now want only feel-good shows such as the ones above. I can't bear to watch the shows I usually watched in the past..crime shows  which filled  me with tension, excitement and an adrenaline rush. I enjoyed watching dystopian shows too but now I can't even bear to see the few seconds they come on while browsing. I really liked a dark crime show set in Boston called City on the hill with Kevin Bacon last year. Now the second season is out and I am not in a mood for that gloomy show, though I was looking forward to it!

There are a few shows which I watch these days... which are mediocre by my standards...but they seem to soothe me...they have some quality in them, which seems to calm my mind. I can watch these shows for even more than hour without feeling bored, irritable or restless... and without really seeing them!

 Covid has made my life so empty and I seem to have lost the desire to fill up that space with activities... these days even food seems to taste boring...whatever I eat. I have lost the enjoyment of food and simply eat because I am hungry. I know I am not depressed. I know I am not anxious. I know I am not angry. I  just feel ???? empty...listless...dull...

I hope I get over this ...or I hope I get more shows to suit my current mood!

90-00$ FOR A SINGLE MELON AT A GROCERY STORE IN TORONTO!!!

 Are there people in Toronto who are willing to pay about a hundred buck for a single melon?

Even with that packaging?

Even the biggest jackfruit has not cost me so much in Toronto. I wonder what is so great about this melon. I do know that the cost of flying it in from Japan must cost a lot....I really would like to know the break up of the cot of this melon and how much did the farmer who grew this really got.

The huge disparity I see between the prices the poor farmers get for their products  for in India and the price the customers pay to get them, drives me crazy!!! (I am a descendent of farming family and farming caste)

Presqu'ile Provincial Park March 20, 2021: found two fossils!

 Drove to Presqu'ile Provincial Park March 20, 2021 today. It's about one and half hours away from Toronto.

Entry fee is 15.50 per car

Nice shale rock beach and a 

sandy beach and 

a gorgeous Lighthouse and 

Marsh land with board-walk (1km loop or a bit more)and the yellow-brown-gold marsh grass fields look beautiful

Also has a nature museum and gift shop and camp sites and in summer people can swim. Today we saw sail boarding(despite the cold and ice by the shore!)

The best things of today:

found two fossils!(on the rock-shale beach)

and found a 100$ bill in the sand!!!

You won't believe the unbelievable quantity of shells in this part of the beach or this beach. You cannot see the ground below, be it sand or rock...as it was covered with this incredible amount of shells. 

It's so amazing that in a short walk, one can see  such different beaches in one single park a shale rock beach//a sandy beach/a 'shelly' beach...who knows what other type of beach I would have found if I had  walked more

Today, Sunday  morning, 14th March 2021 started off brilliantly. I woke up, and for the first time in years maybe, my husband made coffee and got it for me in bed (It's always the other way round). I started the day with watching the Tammy videos. I discovered Tammy just yesterday and so there is a lot for me to watch! I spent the time watching Tammy videos when surprise surprise!!! my husband went down, made dosa, tomato chutney and coffee and got it for me in bed!! It was such a pleasure to watch Tammy while eating dosa, chutney and washing it down with coffee. (maybe he made this as he is off next week...to finish using up his vacation days before end of March?)

I wish every day, every moment of my life was like this....relaxed and fun.

Thanks a lot to Tammy AKA Chelcie Lynn for the laughter and fun she brought into my life. Thanks especially for the Tammy's amazon interview on zoom and Never hire a masseuse from Craigslist! I was in stitches!
