Went to Paris, Ontario yesterday about a 2 hour drive from Toronto (lesser time if the 401 was not so slow). Had a nice time (would have been nicer if it had been less ot, if I had been more 'fit', so that I could have walked up and down the steep roads without feeling so tired)Had lunch by the Grand River in Cobblestone Public House's backyard patio.

Below a few homes built with cobblestones: pillars and foundation of cobblestones.
I missed a few houses which seemed to be built entirely of cobblestones
Above: Hiram Capron's photo on the right of this mural in downtown Paris: he is the founder of this town which was incorporated in 1849.
Below: a few random photos
Above: some flowers, which were so pretty...I dont know what it's name is...never seen it before
Below: Views of The grand river and Nith River, both flowing through Paris

There are many of these flowerpots hanging on the bridges in Paris.
