Flowers from my garden while walking my sitting cat!

Above black-eyed susans...with petals and below...without petals

Don't they look like some green-petalled flowers? With an enormous black eye in the centre

Below is the brown-eyed susan...smaller petals...

Below is the brown-eyed susans sans petals...these really look like a green petalled flower isn't it!

Below are the most disappointing flowers in my garden!

Why do I call these disappointing you ask?

This variety of plant grew in several places in my garden, looking so beautiful, shapely and healthy. I kept waiting for the flowers for over two to three months after the plant was fully grown...these buds came up and then I kept waiting for them to bloom. Now it's fall and I realize that this is it! They are not going to get more blooming than this !

These flowers have no noticeable petals at all. The reason you can see a bit of yellow in these photos is because, I have crammed several of these flowers, in a small space.  If you see this flower, in the plant, you can't see the yellow. It looks like a bald flower or a bud waiting to open up the petals and flower later.
