Notre Dame, Montreal: winter of 2021

Above: Apparently in the past, the priest would climb in this spiral wooden stairs and deliver sermons from above and could be heard all over this vast church, without using a mike.

As you can see, lovely stained glass art ...but impossible to get good photographs ...the lighting was not conducive to photography, every glass was blocked by the carved wooden something blocking me from getting a whole photo of the stained glass.

Some artistic details I photographed in this lovely church.
Of course the Notre Dame in Paris was even more amazing with such a brilliant blue stained glass art work...but to accomplish building this in cold Montreal, in those days is indeed an amazing feat.

There were several paintings such as the ones above and below...but the lighting makes it impossible to capture them in photos...at least not in my camera!
