The cold weather and grey skies of Toronto gives me the winter blues. I try to beat these blues by watching crime fiction shows set in hot weather places (such as Magnum P.I set in Hawaii and Death in paradise set in a fictional Carribean island) and visiting the indoor gardens with tropical plants (such as the Allan Garden Conservatory which has been shut for more than 2 years now!)
It gave me great pleasure to look at this wall of tropical plants in the Hub at Eglinton and Brimley which I visited recently.
You need green to clear away the blues !
