Cambridge, Ontario: October 7, 8, 2019

Was at Cambridge Ontario, for a training. Enjoyed looking at the lovely old stone buildings, in historic downtown. I would love, love, love to live in a stone house, with the river running behind my home...like some homes here!
This town is pretty and definitely worth a visit...it's old world charm, the river, the gentle people, the old architecture, the river itself....one and half hours drive from Toronto on the 401 W, if you avoid rush hour traffic.

Above is an old church (lovely stone walls) by the river...unless one has a drone camera or standing at a height, it's not possible to capture both church and river in one shot.

Why does my heart leap with joy at the sight of old rough textured stone walls?

The building above is the Galt library. Was Cambridge once called Galt?

Above ...the modern glass portion of this building projects out onto the river.

Last but not the least, some wall art from Cambridge...
