Feb 15, 2020 Square one Mall, Mississauga

Today, post Valentine and start of the long weekend,  was a grey, cold chilly day. Determined to spend time outside home, we searched for weekend events and could come up with nothing interesting( or cheap!) Ended up going to the Square one mall...not been here for quite a while and we also wanted to avoid the Toronto malls which we visit over and over again, just to kill time.
We were delightfully surprised by the new fresh look of the Food District which we had not seen before. The shops/cafes here were very stylish and we enjoyed the walk through this food district. But ended up eating in the old food court!
Here are a few photos.

The flowers above are for sale... a pop-up shop for Valentine's day? or maybe this shop is here all year round? Not sure.

Below is a pop-up Valentine day's themed area in one of the aisles.

Above and below are two of the several cards hanging in the card-tree

Above...this lovely print would have been equally at home if hung in The Food District of the mall. It was  in the bookstore. Below are more photos from the book store. I loved the ambience of the mall, especially  book store's and the food district's. Below are more photos from the bookstore.  I love the ambience of bookstores of Bangalore too..the used book stores such as Blossoms. But the two ambiences are TOTALLY different!

Below are photos from the food district, a new discovery for us.
