I saw Red in London

When in London, the color red, seems to pop up everywhere  thanks to their buses and phone booths. Here is a bit of the  reds I saw when touring London, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Above is a clock in the Greenwich observatory and below is a weather cock at the top of  the Observatory.

Above is the iconic red bus of London and below is an actor dressed in red period costume at the Tower of London.
Below is a lady in livery  at Edinburgh castle.

Below is the one of the few thousand iconic phone booths of London

Above and below are of a van parked near the castle in Edinburgh.

Above is a piper in full Highland dress playing bagpipes outside the castle in Edinburgh in traditional. The skirl of the music in the castle gives a great atmosphere(to me the tourists detract from the atmosphere but I am myself a tourist and should not be complaining!)
I loved this  red door  against the contrast to the sombre colors of the church walls. If only this photo was minus the people and the signal pole!
Above and below are buildings I saw on the hop-on-hop-off bus tour at Edinburgh castle mile.
A suggestion for those visiting Edinburgh...if you are reasonably physically fit and can walk uphill, and if you are staying for a couple of days, you can research online about the points of interest in  Edinburgh and do the tour on foot instead of the hop-on-hop-off tour bus. Most of the points of interest are close to each other and you can easily walk around. You can divide the city into 2 areas and do each area in one day or even less. The advantage of the hop-on-hop-off bus is the guide's  interesting and humor laced talk about the history of the buildings and castle you see...who lived here, why was it built, when, why and how. But many tourists don't  listen to this talk as they are busy photographing or talking among themselves and many 'English-speaking' foreigners like my relatives cant understand the guide's accent and give up listening.

Above and below are part of a modern  art work displayed in museum in Glasgow.
