My relative working in the the Karnataka state women development corporation (Jayanagar shopping complex in Bangalore) has not received her salary since the last three months...the central government has not released the funds. Despite telling her to resign, she is refusing to and believing she will be paid.
Several people working for this department all over Karnataka have been laid off due to lack of funding.
These are people from the lower strata of society for whom life is already impossibly difficult
